At Amigos Por Vida – Friends For Life, we believe hands on learning is always a great way to reinforce a lesson. Especially when it comes to learning some of the tougher topics such as the elements of the periodic table. Learning the differences and similarites of the elements gives our students a broad range of knowledge about each elements and why the periodic table is arranged in such a manner. Ms. Lopez decided to assign each student an element and have them design a T-Shirt showing the many properties of each element. Following this they were to find their “elemental friends” around the classroom using their knowledge of the different familes and groups found on the Periodic Table.
