Dear Parents
Happy 2026-2027 School Year!
We are dedicated to providing you and your child with the best possible support and keeping you informed about all school-year activities that involve parent participation. On Monday, you received a manila envelope containing essential forms.
A copy of the Parent and Family Engagement calendar for the school year, including monthly activities, for you to have and be aware of the monthly activities and events.
Student and Family Support Specialist/Counselor Informed Consent: Your permission is required for Ms. Zelaya to meet with and provide any mental health and counseling services to your child. If for any reason you wish not to sign, you must write on the form your wish, and service will not be provided unless it’s an emergency. Please ensure you send the form back.
Parent and Family Engagement Committee-Volunteers (PFEC-V): Please take a moment to learn about our fantastic APV-FFL Parent Committee. This committee provides an opportunity for parents to collaborate in both small and large groups to support various initiatives. Parents who join the committee act as representatives, offering input on decisions, sharing feedback, and helping to develop policies, protocols, and strategies aimed at improving our services and communication.
Also included in the envelope is a white donation envelope for various student projects. We kindly request a donation of $5.00 for each enrolled child.
Volunteer Application: If you are interested in becoming a volunteer in our school district and making a positive impact on students’ lives, please complete the volunteer application and provide a current, valid ID for a background check.
Make sure to fill out all forms and sign the required documents. Once everything is completed, please return the envelope to your child’s teacher. We kindly ask that you submit the envelope with all the forms by Monday, August 17, 2026.
Thank you for being so cooperative!
