The After School Club from Girls Inc.
MIDDLE SCHOOL – ONLY
Parents, this is a tremendous opportunity for your girls to participate. The club will be offered to Middle school girls only, and it aims to equip young girls with essential skills to resist the pressure to engage in harmful substance use. Through interactive workshops, open discussions, and practical activities, participants learn effective strategies to navigate peer influence and make informed, healthy decisions.
This program not only educates girls about the risks associated with substance use but also empowers them to confidently assert their boundaries and make choices that prioritize their well-being. By fostering self-assurance and critical thinking, the Friendly PEERsuasion program plays a pivotal role in promoting a safe and supportive environment, enabling girls to lead healthy lives and make positive contributions to their communities.
We would be delighted to welcome your daughter to participate in this wonderful program, and we want to make it accessible at no cost to you. We’re looking to have 25 girls join us. The club meets just once a week on Thursdays, so your daughter can easily join other clubs on different days without any conflicts. We encourage you to consider this opportunity, as we will be offering a spot on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please notify your daughter to add her name to the teachers’ signing sheet tomorrow.
Thank you for your cooperation!

Good morning parents,
Just a reminder that today at 9:00 am we will be holding the SHAC meeting at APV-FFL library. To maintain a focused environment for our discussions and due to safety protocols, we kindly ask that small children do not attend.
Kind regards,
Ms. Garcia
Our children need nutritious meals to learn, grow and thrive—even when school is out. With the Summer Meal Programs, children and teens ages 18 and younger, and enrolled students with disabilities up to 21 years old can continue to eat healthy throughout the summer at no cost, just by showing up at a participating meal site.
